Green Frog Chicken Houses

Green frog is a specialist company that manufactures plastic products made almost entirely from recycled plastic, including waste food containers and old computers. All houses come in a variety of colours (blue, green, yellow & black) and are available with or without perches. Automatic door kits are also available for all models.

LODGE

This Chicken Lodge is a raised version of our best-selling Chicken House, giving your birds shelter from the Sun and the rain, as well as reducing the chance of rodents nesting under the house.

The gap underneath is 225mm (9") tall, enough for most birds to get underneath where they tend to scrape out a dust bath.

Carry handles are cut into the overhang of the roof, so it is easy to move & the door is designed so that it won't trap dirt in the door slots, and it can be easily opened and closed.

HOUSE

The door of the house is designed so that it won't trap dirt in the door slots, and it can be easily opened and closed.

Access to inspect the birds can be gained via a full width back door which detaches using quick release pins. This, and the fact that the roof removes in seconds as well, makes regular cleaning a breeze.

Access to the double nesting box is quick and easy – just remove two quick release pins. And the nest box lid can be completely removed for cleaning by undoing two more quick release pins.

LOFT

This chicken loft has two nest boxes.

The floor is raised off the ground, so the birds can find shelter or shade underneath. Access to inspect the birds and for cleaning is via a wide back door which can be quickly opened, yet securely fastened in seconds.

Being plastic, the houses require no maintenance. There are few crevices for pests (such as red mite) to hide in, and the house can be thoroughly cleaned very easily – in seconds and it will dry out very quickly too.

This run attaches to the front of the house via quick release pins. It is designed for the small and medium house (the amount of birds kept in a large house require more space). It comes only in black.
