Hi Simon,

Just to say the eggs I bought off you on Saturday are the best eggs I have ever tasted. so fresh and incredible yolk colour.

Although your point of lay come in and out fast and furious, are they still free range eggs? and if so Simon could I pop in pos once a week and use you instead of the supermarket? Even their free range ones are not up to the same standard.

Hope things are going well.

Paul.

Dear Simon and family,

Thanks for all of your help and advice getting set up.

The hens are beautiful, and seem to be settling in well. We had our first egg yesterday lunchtime, and another this afternoon. They've happily put themselves to bed this evening too. Mike has built them some ramps and perches, and they've all had a good explore this evening - see attached. The ranger (Drumstick) is extremely friendly, but they've all had a cuddle and a fuss this evening, and have been eating out of Mike's hand. The Copper Black (Squawk - named by our 18 month old) likes having her photo taken, and I've got several extreme close ups!

Thanks again, and good luck with the bump. I'm sure we'll be seeing you soon when we need more supplies.

Jen, Mike, James, Matthew, Drumstick, Curry, Squawk and Peter (don't ask...)

Hi there! I hope you're all keeping well.

We bought four beautiful girls from you just over a month ago, so I thought I'd drop you a line to let you know how they're all doing.

We named the two Rhode Rocks Phoenix & Flame because of they're gorgeous colours and the Cou Cou/Speckledy hen we named Ivy and the Blue Haze is called Beebee. They've all settled in nicely and it feels like they've been with us for years. They're all really friendly and placid, especially Phoenix, she's always first to the gate and she's very vocal! There were a few disputes in the first couple of weeks, but that was mostly Sandy, our currently dominant Brown hen, throwing her weight about! The pecking order seems to be well established now, so things are quite harmonious at the moment. I'm also pleased to report that all the girls are laying well, and we've even had a couple of double yokers :-)

Thanks again for your all help and advice when we bought them, I wish I'd taken you up on the offer of wing clipping, because I ended up having to do Ivy's wings myself anyway. She noticed my veggie patch was a short flight over the fence and started tucking into my cabbages regularly! They do make us smile :)

All the best, Love from Lisa Coy and family

Hiya!

i just wanted to let you know that the girls have fitted in nicely with my old girls, the cou cou (willow) has been laying dark brown eggs and one of the blue egg layers (Rhubarb) has laid one Dk green egg, so just waiting to see what the other blue egg layer (crumble) will lay....its exciting isnt it!...lol..

Thankyou once again..

Thank you for the eggs you gave us for our broody hen Isi the Copper Moran we originally had from you. She has hatched two beautiful babies who are now 5 weeks old.

Today we let them run with our other hens and had no problems a tall as we have had them in a coup next to them. We love our gorgeous girls they are so friendly and comical and even our 14 year old cat has been found sitting in with them they are so placid

We will probably see you in the spring as we are thinking of having another flock of 5.

Hi Simon,

I had 4 gorgeous chickens from you in August, a present for my 40th birthday, and a large coop. The girls are wonderful, I had a blue haze "Lola", a ranger "Dora" a white sussex "Millie" and a copper black "Daisy". They all get on really well, the children adore them as do I! We are getting 3 or 4 eggs every day.

Thanks for all your advice.
Helen.

Hiya,

I came yesterday and bought 3 hens from yourself, have to say there lovely and have settled in really well. Couldn't believe when I got home from work tonight one had laid an egg!!

Many thanks Rich

Hi,

Just to say thank you, got my new hens home, locked them with my other girls for two hours in the run then let them all in the garden, little bit of jostling, but beautiful happy hens who are all tucked up together for the night.

Thanks again,
I will definitely see you again.
